Early Life and Career:


Born in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh in 1972, Sanjay Singh is the son of former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Madhav Singh. He completed his schooling from the Doon School in Dehradun, one of the most prestigious schools in India, and later graduated from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.


Sanjay Singh started his political career as a student leader and was associated with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). However, he later joined the Indian National Congress (INC) and worked as a spokesperson for the party.


In 2012, Sanjay Singh joined the Aam Aadmi Party, which was founded by anti-corruption activist Arvind Kejriwal. He played an instrumental role in the party's election campaign and was elected to the Rajya Sabha in 2014.


Political Career:


Sanjay Singh is known for his fierce opposition to corruption and his vocal support for social justice. He has been a vocal critic of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its policies, particularly on issues such as farmers' rights and the environment.
